November LSCU roundtable meeting to focus on matters of compliance

Mike Lee, LSCU Director of Regulatory Advocacy, will hold a Regulatory Roundtable to discuss compliance issues pertinent to your credit union. The meeting is planned for Nov. 9, beginning at 9 a.m. at Avadian Credit Union in Birmingham, AL. Topics on the agenda for discussion include the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), review of the CFPB updated overdraft opt-in forms, review of ACUA regulatory changes, MLA and credit card issues, cybersecurity, TRID 2.0, arbitration clauses, TCPA, ADA website compliance, and more.

“We have seen a resurgence of interest from compliance professionals who would like to meet to discuss issues pertinent to their credit unions today,” Lee said. “This offers a forum for credit union representatives to ask questions and discuss issues concerning them. It’s a valuable tool to communicate with compliance colleagues and to network and share information.”
