This week in Washington, the House is in recess until Nov. 13. On the floor, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.302, the five-year reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration. The Senate is also expected to vote on H.R. 6, legislation to address opioid abuse.
Today, the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will hold a full committee hearing: “Implementation of the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act.”
On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing: “Big Bank Bankruptcy: 10 Years After Lehman Brothers.” The Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee will hold a hearing: “Expanding Opportunities for Small Businesses Through the Tax Code.”
On Thursday, the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will hold a full committee hearing: “Combating Money Laundering and Other Forms of Illicit Finance: Regulator and Law Enforcement Perspectives on Reform.”
