Timothy Alexander knows what it takes to beat the odds. No matter what obstacle comes his way, he’s determined to never quit. As a senior at E.B. Erwin High School in 2006, Timothy was one of the state’s top-ranked football players. However, he was involved in a life-changing car accident that fall, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. From that point on, Timothy was left to find his purpose in life while paralyzed.
Timothy will tell his story and challenge those in attendance to live a life of residency at the Southeast Credit Union Conference and Expo in the closing session on June 21.
Timothy is a living example of the phrase, “We don’t need it to be easy, we just need it to be possible” and is currently the character coach at UAB, recently published his first book, and is a Sports Emmy Award Winner. Come be inspired by this year’s closing keynote at SCUCE. Be sure to register today to hear Timothy speak.
