IRA Essentials and Advanced Training Workshop scheduled in Birmingham

Registration is now open for the LSCU IRA Essentials & Advanced Training Workshop, March 10-11 in Birmingham, Ala. IRA Essentials Training is being offered for those who need to learn the basics of Traditional and Roth IRAs or want an updated, general refresher on IRA rules.

IRA Advanced Training builds on the attendees’ knowledge of IRA basics to address some of the more complex IRA issues their financial organizations may handle.

Classes will be taught by Ben Maas, a training consultant with the education department at Ascensus. Maas conducts IRA training programs nationwide and is applauded for presenting complex details in an approachable format. His expertise includes Traditional and Roth IRAs, Coverdell education savings accounts, health savings accounts and SEP and SIMPLE IRA plans.
