At its most recent annual meeting, the National Youth Involvement Board (NYIB) elected a new regional coordinator, re-elected two regional coordinators, and re-elected the chairman for a second term. The NYIB re-elected Juli Lewis, member relations consultant for the LSCU & Affiliates, as NYIB chairman for 2015-16. Lewis has 22 years of experience in the credit union industry. She has been an active member of the NYIB since 2006.
During the meeting, the NYIB elected regional coordinators from the north central, north west, and north east to two-year terms. Regional coordinators from south central, south east, and south west will continue with the second year of their existing terms. The executive committee also elected new officers and added an ex-officio seat to the executive committee which was filled by an LSCU Young Professional, Heather Mourhourtis from Community First Credit Union in Jacksonville, FL.
