- U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (R) for Alabama’s 3rd Congressional District
- U.S. Representative Robert Aderholt (R) for Alabama’s 4th Congressional District
- Dale Strong (R) for Alabama’s 5th Congressional District

“We are incredibly proud to support this esteemed list of candidates in their bids for elected office. These candidates have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to standing up for Alabama credit unions and our priorities,” stated LSCU & Affiliates CEO, Patrick La Pine. “As credit unions continue to invest in their members and local communities, we look forward to working alongside these officials to further enhance the financial well-being of Alabamians.”
With these endorsements, LSCU & Affiliates will support these candidates financially and through grassroots efforts. Over the next several months, credit unions and their members will have opportunities to speak with the candidates so they can make their own decisions as voters.
“Throughout the pandemic, it became especially apparent just how vital the relationships between credit unions and federal offices are. In the last two years, we proudly worked with Congress to save nearly 10,000 jobs through Paycheck Protection Program loans and protect businesses through the issuance of more than $886 million in small business loans. Through continued efforts, credit unions have contributed more than $2.4 billion to Alabama’s economy to ensure families and businesses across the state have the resources and assistance they need to get through the pandemic,” continued La Pine. “We look forward to strengthening our relationships with these officials in 2023 and beyond, so that we may continue creating a financial environment where all Alabamians can succeed.”
