Last Chance to Apply for a SECUF Grant to Attend SCUCE

This is your last chance to apply for the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation’s (SECUF) professional development grant to attend the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE). Apply by May 16, 2022 for consideration to be awarded a grant that could include a reimbursement for registration fees and certain travel costs to attend SCUCE. To see if you are eligible for a SECUF grant, click here.

Grants are awarded to those who can prove they best exemplify the credit union philosophy and that their attendance at SCUCE would benefit their credit unions’ goals. The grants are awarded equally to credit union employees, board members, or volunteers of LSCU-affiliated credit unions in Alabama, Florida, or Georgia.

The SECUF grants are reimbursement grants, meaning the applicant is responsible for paying for the registration fee for this event and any travel costs upfront, and then if awarded, they will submit a reimbursement packet and receive up to the amount approved by the Grant Committee.

Credit unions receiving SAS (Small Asset Size) funds must exhaust those funds before they are able to receive professional development grant awards. If you plan to use your SAS funds but have not yet, please indicate in the application.

The SECUF offers professional development grants to attend a variety of League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) and Credit Union National Association (CUNA) educational events. For more information about the professional development grants, please email SECUF@LSCU.coop.
