SECUF Raises More Than $24,000 at the SCUCE Raffle Fundraiser

The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation (SECUF), the charitable arm of the League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU), successfully raised an impressive sum of over $24,000. This achievement was made possible thanks to contributions from 10 participating Florida credit unions and the attendees of the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE).

The participating credit unions include Suncoast Credit Union, Alive Credit Union, Gold Coast Federal Credit Union, San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union, University of South Florida Federal Credit Union, ECU Credit Union, Priority Credit Union, Bay/FLAG Credit Union, Walton County Teachers’ Federal Credit Union, Community South Credit Union, and My Healthcare Federal Credit Union (now, FiCare Federal Credit Union).

We offer our sincere gratitude to TruStage for sponsoring the SECUF Raffle. Their ongoing commitment and passion for supporting credit unions is truly remarkable.

The first-place winner of the raffle was Willie W., who won the $5,000 Grand Prize. Willie plans to go on a much-deserved vacation with his winnings.

The second-place winner was Richard S., who won the $1,000 Second Place Drawing. Richard plans to support his daughter who participates in the Junior Olympics.

The third-place winner was Richard H., who won $500 in the Third Place Drawing.

A warm thank you is extended to all credit unions and SCUCE attendees who participated in the SECUF raffle. The funds collected will be strategically utilized to foster economic growth by advancing financial wellness, igniting community partnerships, and facilitating disaster readiness and aid for credit unions.
