Credit Unions in Need of Support and Resources

The League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) sincerely appreciates your outpouring of support and generous offers to assist those in need in the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia.

While we continue to assess needs, we know more than 2,000 credit union branches were impacted by the storm – the vast majority of which have been able to resume normal operations. However, some were hit worse than others. Last week we were able to provide truckloads full of bottled water, non-perishable foods, and other essential items for credit union employees, volunteers, and their families across North Florida and South Georgia.

However, impacted credit unions and their teams need our continued assistance to get employees back on their feet and branches rebuilt as the hurricane left homes uninhabitable and branches without power, roofs, and more.

The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation is currently accepting grants applications to impacted credit unions. If you are interested in contributing and assisting those in need, you may do so here. Every dollar contributed goes to helping those affected.

If you are in need of supplies, resources, or assistance, please remember you can submit your requests through our Credit Union Status Report Form.
