NCUA Awards $3.1 Million Through Expanded CDRLF Grants

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) recently awarded $3.1 million in Community Development Revolving Loan Fund (CDRLF) grants to 142 low-income and minority depository institutions. The NCUA awarded grants ranging from $1,000 to $50,000 to credit unions in 40 states and the District of Columbia. Forty-two awardees were MDIs, and 23 were first-time applicants.

The League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) was honored to have twelve low-income and minority depository institutions receive more than $350,000 in grant funding throughout our tri-state footprint.

  • Alabama:
    • Sixth Avenue Baptist Federal Credit Union in Birmingham, was awarded $50,000.
    • Demopolis Federal Credit Union in Demopolis, was awarded $50,000.
    • Fedmont Federal Credit Union in Montgomery, was awarded $10,000.
    • Chattahoochee Federal Credit Union in Valley, was awarded $50,000.
  • Florida:
    • Local 606 Electrical Workers Federal Credit Union in Orlando, was awarded $8,200.
    • Walton County Teachers Federal Credit Union in Defuniak Springs, was awarded $2,400.
    • My Pensacola Federal Credit Union in Pensacola, was awarded $10,000.
    • Priority Credit Union in Orlando, was awarded $50,000.
    • Compass Financial Federal Credit Union in Medley, was awarded $10,000.
  • Georgia:
    • Altamaha Federal Credit Union in Jesup, was awarded $10,000.
    • Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Federal Credit Union in Suwanee, was awarded $50,000.
    • FAB Church Federal Credit Union in Savannah, was awarded $50,000.
