The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation (SECUF), the charitable arm of the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) is proud to announce the launch of the Friends of the Foundation membership program. This initiative enables individuals and organizations to partner with SECUF, gaining access to financial wellness benefits, volunteer opportunities, and credit union products and services. By becoming a member, individuals actively participate in the Foundation’s priorities while catalyzing support for disaster resilience, credit union development, and community impact programs.
Individuals who join Friends of the Foundation will benefit from:
- Access to membership opportunities with participating credit unions.
- Low-cost financial products and services.
- An e-newsletter on financial wellness and volunteer opportunities.
- Access to the Enrich financial wellness learning platform.
- Voting privileges on financial education and community development issues.
- Opportunities to support disaster relief, grants, and other impactful initiatives.
The annual membership fee for individuals is $15, with the option to renew on their anniversary date.
By adding SECUF as an Affiliate Association to their field of membership, credit unions can:
- Retain membership dollars within the industry for grants and support in the SECUF region.
- Increase awareness and membership.
- Strengthen community relationships through the “People Helping People” philosophy.
“We are excited to launch the Friends of the Foundation membership program, empowering individuals and organizations to make a tangible impact on financial wellness and community development,” expressed Bobbi Grady, SECUF Director. “Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen the collective of credit unions as a force for positive change.”
