Southeastern Credit Union Foundation Announces New Disaster Preparedness RecoveryPro Grant Opportunity for Member Credit Unions

The Southeastern Credit Union Foundation (SECUF) is excited to announce the launch of the Disaster Preparedness RecoveryPro Grant Program, an initiative aimed at enhancing disaster preparedness and business continuity for credit unions across the League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) membership.

This new grant program provides access to the RecoveryPro system—a comprehensive platform designed to help credit unions develop, integrate, and maintain robust business continuity plans. Along with access to this platform, the program includes a three-day in-person training workshop, equipping credit union staff with the knowledge and skills needed to implement and sustain their continuity strategies effectively.

Key Details:

  • Grant Coverage:
    • First-year cost of RecoveryPro system
    • Full cost of the three-day training.
    • Up to $1,000 per staff member for travel and accommodation (maximum of three attendees).
  • Eligibility:
    • All LSCU member credit unions are encouraged to apply.
    • Priority will be given to small and mid-sized credit unions with limited resources.

Disaster preparedness is a critical component of serving members and sustaining operations. This program ensures that credit unions have the tools and training necessary to build resilient systems, reducing operational disruptions and enhancing service continuity in the face of unforeseen challenges.

“SECUF is committed to empowering credit unions with resources that make a tangible impact,” said Bobbi Grady, SECUF Executive Director. “The RecoveryPro Grant Program is a vital step toward ensuring our members are equipped to navigate challenges while continuing to serve their communities.”
