Alabama Advocacy Conference begins with strong speakers, important takeaways

The Alabama Advocacy Conference kicked off in Montgomery, Ala., yesterday with a full slate of speakers offering election and advocacy insight,, along with regulatory issues and changes. LSCU CEO Patrick La Pine welcomed attendees and provided a league update with insight following CUNA’s recent Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C.

Patrick also congratulated Brad Green, CEO of Listerhill Credit Union, for his service as Board of Directors Executive Committee Members for 2020

“We’re really excited about having Brad in that role,” Patrick said, adding that with Brian Best of GTE Financial based in Florida, the LSCU has two representatives on the CUNA Board now.
