Each year at the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE), the Advocacy Luncheon is a highly attended event that you do not want to miss. Past speakers have included Sen. Bill Nelson, Congressman Bill Posey, The Hill’s AB Stoddard, the Cook Political Report’s David Wasserman, and political pundit Kristen Soltis Anderson. This year, the LSCU is excited to announce that Josh Holmes, a leading voice in Washington politics, will be the keynote speaker.

Josh is a political strategist and former Chief of Staff to U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell. Holmes has been a guest on Fox News Sunday as a “Power Player of the Week” and was named by the Washington Post as one of the “10 Staffers to Watch” in the 112th Congress. He has been listed in the “Roll Call Fabulous 50” for influential staff on Capital Hill and was featured in POLITICO’s “50 Politicos to Watch” in 2011.

The Advocacy Luncheon will be held on Thursday, June 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Mediterranean Rooms 6-7 at the J.W. Marriott and is a separate ticketed event.

Tickets are a minimum contribution of $85 and benefit the LSCU Federal Political Action Committee (LSCU FedPAC) and include lunch. Attendees are welcome to contribute more than $85. All tickets must be purchased with personal funds not business accounts. Contributions to the FEDPAC are not tax deductible. Donations made on a credit card will show up as either Piryx, Inc. or Rally, Inc. and are made through a secure website.

Seating is limited for the Governmental Affairs Luncheon, so please make sure to register early. To prepay and register for the event, please CLICK HERE.

Because this is a fundraiser for our LSCU Federal Political Action Committee, the registration must be separate from the actual event registration. If you have not received a confirmation email from PIRYX, the website, then you have not made your payment. There are no physical tickets for this event. If you aren’t sure about your reservation, please check with Jared Ross to confirm.
