Are Your Credit Union Members Ready for Election Day?

With elections coming up, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) Advocacy Team wants to make sure you have the resources necessary to educate your members on the best voting practices. Now more than ever, it is paramount that credit unions vote and make an impact on election day. Voter education can be cumbersome, time-consuming, and stressful, so the advocacy team has compiled all pertinent information here. On this page, you can find valuable information such as:

  • Voter registration deadlines for Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. If you or your members are unsure about your registration status, there is a portal under Voter Resources where you can check your status and even register to vote.
  • A timeline of important election dates for all three states in the LSCU footprint as well as state-specific information on vote-by-mail or absentee ballots.
  • A list of both LSCU Federal and state PAC-supported and board-endorsed candidates. Due to a later primary date, Florida’s PAC-supported candidates will be updated soon.

LSCU strives to be the solution to your voter education needs and the source of accessible information for your members to have the strongest possible turnout this 2022 Primary and General election season. Opponents of the credit union industry also understand how important election activities are to overall advocacy efforts, so your participation is crucial. If you have any questions about our voting resources, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any member of the Advocacy Team. Thank you for your continued support of LSCU’s advocacy efforts.
