LSCU is asking every member credit union to run CUNA’s Project Zip Code program this month. Project Zip Code is a secure computer program that counts a credit union’s members and matches them by congressional district, state legislative district and county. This helps the League by being able to tell lawmakers how many constituents in their district are credit union members, and therefore, exactly how many of their constituents would be affected by the issue being discussed. The program also helps credit unions by viewing their membership in a geographic area, which can be useful in placing ATMs and branches.

Visit pzconline.com to run the program. Credit unions can sign in with their CUNA login to register. A user manual can be found in the Support tab along the left side of the main page to help walk through the process.
