Congressman Buddy Carter Remains Committed to Protecting Small Businesses and Credit Unions

This week, members of the LSCU Advocacy team are on Capitol Hill lobbying for credit union friendly legislation and against unnecessary regulations.

Meeting with key lawmakers to discuss the proposed IRS reporting requirement, LSCU reiterated the significant impact that this dangerous proposal would have on credit unions.

Congressman Buddy Carter (GA-01) spoke directly with the LSCU Advocacy team on his efforts to protect small businesses and credit unions alike.

As a reminder, credit union members are encouraged to contact lawmakers and urge them to oppose this IRS reporting provision.
