Credit Union Leaders Meet with Florida’s Office of Financial Regulation

Credit Union Leaders this week met with representatives of Florida’s Office of Financial Regulation to discuss potential issues regarding charter modernization, field of membership, reciprocal agreements between states, and board compensation. The Director of the Office of Financial Institutions Jeremy Smith and Credit Union Bureau Chief Ben Brinkley welcomed the chance to consider new concepts while moving the industry forward in Florida. In attendance were Space Coast Credit Union CEO Tim Antonition, Suncoast Credit Union CEO Kevin Johnson, MIDFLORIDA Credit Union President Steve Moseley, Vystar Credit Union CEO Brian Wolfburg as well as LSCU & Affiliates representatives CEO Patrick La Pine, President Samantha Beeler, and Senior Governmental Affairs Director John Rothell.
