Corona virus: test tube with corona virus, covid-19

CUNA MAP content open to all credit unions during pandemic

CUNA’s Member Activation Program can help credit unions connect directly with their members via regular updates regarding the impact of COVID-19 on the credit union.

“These communications are meant to provide reassurance and comfort to their members, and MAP is the perfect channel for members to hear directly from their credit unions during these unprecedented times,” wrote Adam Engelman, CUNA director of federal grassroots and programs.

During the crisis, settings on the CUNA MAP Community page will be open to all credit unions, even those that are not enrolled in the program, which was designed to get members engaged in credit union advocacy. CUNA provides a tool kit of plug-and-play, letters and more content that credit unions can deliver to members.

Research has shown members who receive advocacy outreach have a stronger bond to their credit union; 82% say it makes them want to do more business with their institution.

During the coronavirus crisis, it becomes an effective delivery method for important updates to members about your credit union. Learn more here.
