The Florida State Governmental Affairs Conference began this morning in Tallahassee. The first day kicks off with two opportunities to meet with lawmakers, PAC fundraising awards, and a legislative priorities discussion. The 2015 State Lawmaker of the Year award is also being presented to Senate President Designate Joe Negron during the Lawmaker Reception.

Attendees will head over to the Capitol in the afternoon for meetings with their lawmakers in their offices. Later in the evening attendees and lawmakers will mingle during the legislative reception. This is a great way to build relationships in a more relaxed environment.

For any credit union that has not registered but would like to take part, you can walk in and register at the Governor’s Club at 202 S. Adams St, Tallahassee. For attendees, make sure to download the mobile app from your device’s app store for the agenda, presentations, and Hill visit schedule – search LSCU.
