Georgia Advocacy Conference slated for March 12

Without question, there is much to discuss in 2021 governmental affairs. The date has now been set for the can’t-miss advocacy event of 2021 – LSCU’s Virtual Georgia Advocacy Conference!

Planned for March 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET, the “Virtual Experience for Credit Union Professionals” enables Georgia credit unions to gather with peers to learn more about advocacy issues that impact your credit union and members on the federal and state level.

“Though we can’t be together in person this year for our advocacy conference, we are making this a high-impact virtual event that will provide valuable information for credit unions of all sizes,” says Sydney Rubin, senior director of governmental affairs for LSCU and the Georgia Credit Union Association. “This is an important time for our credit unions’ voices to be heard, and this platform will allow us to learn and to share our perspectives with lawmakers.”

  • Hear an update from the leadership of the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance
  • Engage with Georgia legislators, LSCU executives, LSCU advocacy staff and other credit unions
  • Be an active participant in grassroots political action
  • Virtual lunch will be provided with an e-gift card
  • There will be a chance to win prizes!
