On Wednesday, July 20, the House Energy and Commerce Committee unanimously passed H.R. 3962, the Securing and Enabling Commerce Using Remote and Electronic (SECURE) Notarization Act of 2021.
The SECURE Act authorizes the use of remote online notarization (RON) and creates national standards and protections for its use.
