This week, the U.S. Senate will be voting on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) recently filed the Credit Card Competition Act (interchange regulation) as an amendment to. Senators Marshall and Durbin are pushing for a vote on the floor, and we need your help to prevent this from happening.
To prevent a floor vote, we need a full display of grassroots advocacy to demonstrate the full impact of this amendment and our adamant opposition. Please complete this new interchange action alert, specifically targeting the NDAA amendment. With the Senate voting this week and both chambers expected to deliberate on a final version shortly thereafter, time is of the essence and your outreach is greatly appreciated.
With enough members going to leadership opposing this provision, we can once again prevent this bill from coming up on the floor, just as we did last fall.
