On Friday, April 12, Gov. Kay Ivey appointed two new members to serve on the Alabama Credit Union Administration Board of Directors.  The appointments, Derrick Ragland, CEO of APCO Employees Credit Union, and Carolyn Simmons, CEO of Social Security Credit Union, will be replacing current board members Joey Hand, CEO of eCO Credit Union, and Charlie Faulkner, CEO of Jefferson Credit Union. While both appointments still require Senate confirmation, all indications are that both will be confirmed as soon as possible.

The term of service for both new board members will expire Feb. 1, 2022.  LSCU would like to congratulate Derrick and Carolyn for their appointments and thank Joey and Charlie for their unwavering support of state-chartered credit unions while serving on the ACUA Board.
