adminINFLUENCE Magazine, run by Peter Schorsch of SaintPetersBlog.com and Extensive Enterprises Media, released its first Golden Rotunda Awards. The awards recognize the best in Florida’s lobbying corp. Capital City Consultants, the firm the League began using since late last year, was named the Lobbying Firm of the Year. A prestigious honor for them and for credit unions.
The League has been happy with their representation, and were a key part of helping the LSCU have such a successful 2016 legislative session. The League has already begun working with them planning a comprehensive legislative strategy for 2017.
To determine Lobbying Firm of the Year, each of the 30 largest governmental affairs firms (by reported compensation) were given a ballot and asked to submit a weighted ballot of what they think are the top three firms in Florida. A first place vote earned three points, while a third-place vote earned one.
