LSCU PACs Raises Nearly $45,000 at SCUCE Events

Fundraisers for the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) PACs at the Southeastern Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE) turned out to be among the most successful in LSCU history, raising nearly $45,000!  Beginning the week before SCUCE and ending at the Thursday night Gala Dinner, conference attendees and credit union advocates placed bids on nearly 150 items at the silent auction ranging from electronics to purses to fashionable jewelry. The auction broke numerous records this year including the highest total fair market value and most importantly, the highest amount ever raised in the history of this event. Whether your credit union donated an item, you bid on or won your favorite item, or you simply helped us spread the word, the team at the League would like to express our gratitude.

At the Advocacy Luncheon on Thursday, a packed room of credit union advocates heard from The Hill’s Bob Cusack on the political landscape both presently and into the future election cycle. The LSCU Advocacy staff would like to thank all our member credit unions and conference exhibitors for your tremendous support. Without your generous contributions, these events would not have been possible.
