Last week, Florida credit union advocates across the state gathered to thank two industry champions in Congress: Representatives John Rutherford (FL-04) and Daniel Webster (FL-11). Our member credit unions were proud to support these Congressmen this election season and to update them on our legislative priorities. During the check presentations, we discussed updates to overdraft or NSF fees, our stark opposition to changing the current interchange system, and credit unions’ dedication to financial literacy. Thank you to 121 Financial Credit Union and Addition Financial Credit Union for hosting these important advocacy events, and to all who came to show credit unions’ grassroots strength in action.
