LSCU Welcomes Michelle Roth to the Advocacy Team

The League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) is excited to announce that Michelle Roth joins us as the new Senior Director of Governmental Affairs in Alabama. She brings to the LSCU a wealth of knowledge and extensive governmental affairs and association experience, formerly serving as the Executive Director of the Alabama Cable and Broadband Association for seven years. In her role as Executive Director, Michelle was responsible for the day-to-day management of the association, serving as the sole team member, responsible for lobbying and running point on public & member relations.

Michelle and her family have many ties to the Montgomery political sphere, as her husband Toby is a contract lobbyist with Capitol Resources Alabama, formerly serving as former Governor Bob Riley’s Chief of Staff, and their daughter works for Alabama Governor Kay Ivey in her executive office.

This expansive experience will make Michelle an extremely valued addition to the LSCU Advocacy Team and a phenomenal advocate for credit unions at the State Capitol. We look forward to you meeting her very soon, if not before the Alabama Advocacy Conference in Montgomery on April 4 – 5, 2023. We have already been working on a great agenda and look forward to Michelle building upon the great momentum that LSCU and Alabama credit unions have built at the state Capitol.
