Lizeth GeorgeThe League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates’ (LSCU) Advocacy Team will host Hike the Hill on a virtual platform from October 18 – 22, 2021 due to the resurgence in COVID-19 cases. With the shift to a virtual event, LCSU intends to hold meetings with all six Senate offices, Financial Services committee members, Ways & Means committee members, and other key representatives. These meetings with lawmakers are a key component of credit union advocacy efforts.
While we are all disappointed that we are unable to visit with our lawmakers in person, LSCU will continue to provide a platform where credit union advocates can tell their story. We are currently in the process of scheduling meetings, so please check back often. LSCU will also be sure to update credit unions on any scheduling changes.
