As we’re all gearing up for an exciting three days in Orlando, Fla. for the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE), make sure you’re registered for all the sessions and events you’d like to attend including the LSCU Advocacy Luncheon scheduled for Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 12:30 p.m.
In recent years, attendees have had the pleasure of hearing from guest speakers including: Sen. Bill Nelson, Congressman Bill Posey, The Hill’s AB Stoddard, the Cook Political Report’s David Wasserman, Dr. Steffen Schmidt and Ainsley Earhardt, star of Fox News’ morning show, Fox & Friends, as the keynote speaker.
This year, attendees at the luncheon will hear from Nathan Gonzales – Editor & Publisher of Inside Elections – which gets into the nonpartisan analysis of campaigns for Senate, House, governor and president. Mr. Gonzales also serves as an Elections Analyst for CQ Roll Call.
During Election Night 2016, Mr. Gonzales covered the analysis for the Newshour on PBS. He has been a consultant for ABC NEWS for its Election Night Decision Desk for 14 years. Mr. Gonzales has also worked as an editor, analyst and writer for The Rothenberg Political Report, and worked for CNN as a Political Analyst and as an associate producer for Capital Gang. You may have seen Mr. Gonzales on NBC’s Meet the Press and NBC Nightly News, C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, Fox News Channel, and MSNBC. You may have heard him on NPR’s All Things Considered, and he’s been quoted in all the large, mainstream media outlets like The New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today. His work has also appeared on FiveThirtyEight, NBCLatino.com and in Campaigns & Elections magazine.
Mr. Gonzales graduated from the George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management (Washington, DC) with his M.A. and prior to that, received his B.A. from Vanguard University (Costa Mesa, California). He served in Washington, D.C. as an intern in the White House Press Office and now lives in the city with his wife and four children.
