Second rounds of Hike the Hill meetings kick off Sept. 28

Meetings with lawmakers remain the most visual and significant representation of credit union grassroots strength, and the LSCU advocacy team believes the credit union mission can continue to be advanced, even from afar. That was proven in the highly effective first round of Hike the Hill meetings last week. The second session of Hike the Hill is planned for Sept. 28-Oct. 2.

Virtual Hike the Hill talking points, recorded webinar tutorial, and all meeting dates and times are located on our Virtual Hike the Hill webpage. We are constantly uploading new meetings for our second week of Hike the Hill as they are scheduled to accommodate the fluctuating congressional schedule.

During the first sessions of Hike the Hill from Sept. 14 – 18, credit union advocates from all three states within the LSCU footprint met with 23 members of Congress and the U.S. Senate during the first week of our Virtual Hike the Hill. W
