The 2022 Hike the Hill Room Block Closes Tomorrow

Take advantage of the hotel room block for the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates’ (LSCU & Affiliates) Hike the Hill event, scheduled for September 13 – 15 in Washington, D.C.! The room block for LSCU members ends tomorrow, August 23, 2022. Join credit union leaders from across Alabama, Florida, and Georgia in advocating for the financial well-being of the more than 10.4 million credit union members across our tri-state footprint.

Following the 2022 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference, lawmakers are ready to have credit union advocates back on the Hill advancing the credit union movement. With your help, we can effectively share the credit union difference with lawmakers and advance priorities specific to our industry.

The regulatory meeting schedule will be as follows:

9:00 AM: Meeting with NCUA Vice Chairman Kyle Hauptman
Location: Credit Union National Association (99 M St SE, Washington, DC  20003)

11:00 AM: Meeting with CFPB Director Rohit Chopra
Location: Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (1700 G Street, NW Washington, D.C. 20552)

3:00 PM: Meeting with NCUA Chairman Todd Harper
Location: National Credit Union Administration (1775 Duke St Ste 4206, Alexandria, VA  22314)

The day will end with a Reception and Briefing at the Credit Union House, where attendees will be prepared for Hill meetings taking place the next day with both Senate and House offices.
