Legislative changes during the 2017 Alabama Session now allow credit unions to participate in prize-linked savings programs, beginning Jan. 1, 2018. The LSCU is working with CU Solutions and the nationally recognized “Save to Win” program to give credit unions a hassle-free option when participating.

A free webinar, “Save to Win: Building Nest Eggs & New Memberships,” is planned for Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. ET. Every time your members make a $25 deposit into their Save to Win share-certificate account, they’re entered into a drawing where they can win cash prizes. It’s a fun, easy and risk-free way to incentivize savings for your members while growing wallet-share for your credit union.
Save to Win account facts:

  • More than 30 percent of Save to Win accounts are held by millennials
  • Nearly 10 percent of Save to Win account holders joined their credit union to access Save to Win
  • Save to Win has awarded more than $2 million in cash prizes to credit union members
  • Save to Win has encouraged nearly $140 million in member savings
Join Jessica Thelen, Save to Win program manager, as she highlights how the nation’s largest prize-linked savings program will benefit your credit union and your members. Click here to register for the free session.
