VyStar announces grand opening of 56th branch
Brian E. Wolfburg, president/CEO of VyStar Credit Union, announced the official opening of VyStar’s 56th branch location at 5857 Seven Mile Drive, Wildwood, FL 34785. VyStar officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location on Sept. 4, as well as other grand opening festivities through Sept. 7.
Brian Wolfburg says, “The Villages branch is VyStar’s first branch in Sumter County and will be well-positioned to respond to the tremendous growth that has flourished in this amazing community. We look forward to supporting the financial needs of the residents and helping them achieve their financial goals.”
April Green serves as branch vice president of VyStar’s Villages branch, which is one of VyStar’s new branch design concepts. The design combines a fresh look with enhanced technology intended to increase efficiency and improve member experience. The Wildwood facility has four teller stations, five member service offices, two drive-thru lanes, one drive-up ATM, and one walk-up ATM located in a protected vestibule with 24-hour access.
Alabama Credit Union honors first responders on anniversary of 9/11
Alabama Credit Union honored the memory of the thousands of lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. In an effort to shed light on an otherwise very dark day, the credit union arranged a thank you and remembrance to first responders.
Members of the West Mobile staff delivered gifts to the local firefighter and police precinct in recognition of the work they do to save lives and to remember the heroes who died in the terrorist attacks 18 years ago.
IBMSECU celebrates 50th anniversary with 69’ Ford Mustang give-away
IBM Southeast Employees’ Credit Union will celebrate its 50th Anniversary at the Delray Beach Headquarters on Sept. 17. The special 50th Anniversary Celebration will take place at 1000 NW 17th Ave., Delray Beach, FL from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. During a live Facebook event that day, nine members will win $50-$100 gift cards and one lucky winner will win a 1969 Ford Mustang convertible autographed by professional golfer Lee Trevino.
Members are invited to join the festivities, including a complimentary lunch at the Delray Beach Branch with a special 50th anniversary cake. Everyone who attends the event will receive a commemorative 50th anniversary coin.
