Lizeth GeorgeThe League of Southeastern Credit Unions’ (LSCU) nomination portal is currently open for the LSCU Awards. Take some time to celebrate your favorite credit union professional by nominating them for the Young Professional of the Year Award! The nomination portal will remain open until Friday, March 22.
This award recognizes one outstanding LSCU-affiliated credit union professional, age 40 or under, who has demonstrated proven dedication and enthusiasm for the credit union movement. Special consideration will be given to active members of the Young Professionals Group (YPG).
Award winners will be notified confidentially, and LSCU Awards will be presented during the 2024 Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE) from June 11 – 14 in Orlando, Florida.
Additionally, with Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and the National Association of Federally Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) merging to become America’s Credit Unions, the CUNA Awards program has been suspended for 2024 while they assess a new combined awards program moving forward. Thus, the LSCU Awards will be the only awards platform available this year for credit unions in our tri-state footprint to honor their credit union or credit union professionals.
