The two discuss the 2022 Alabama Legislative Session, how it went, bills that will affect credit unions, and how credit unions can get more involved in the political process.

Representative Whitt assumed office on November 7, 2018. He is currently running for a second term to represent District 6 in the Alabama House of Representatives, representing Madison and Limestone counties.  In the 2022 Regular Session, he sponsored and passed into law HJR 64, which stresses the importance of financial literacy education for all Alabamians.

Representative Whitt attended Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Madison County Executive of First National Bank.

  • Commerce and Small Business Committee
  • Limestone County Legislation Committee
  • Madison County Legislation Committee
