Common Cents Podcast – The Credit Union Conferences and Events You Need to Attend

Commons Cents, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) Podcast, has just released another episode. In this month’s edition, LSCU Podcast Host Mike Miller sits down with the LSCU Education & Training Team to discuss all the happenings the League has to offer this year. From virtual training to in-person workshops to our annual conference, the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE) in Orlando, Florida, LSCU has dozens of educational, training, and networking events planned in 2023.

Mike, Maureen Bock, and Hayley Trammell discuss the changes coming to SCUCE this year, the new Vision Conference in August 2023, and Inspire, a new women’s conference scheduled for October 2023.

Maureen Bock is the Vice President of Education & Training. She oversees the strategic direction and team that creates educational and training content and offerings at LSCU. From our advocacy conferences to virtual events to conventions to council programs, Maureen and her team strive to provide training and leadership development for credit unions. Her greatest joy is seeing the collaboration and learning that happens at events we host.

Hayley Trammell is the Director of Education & Training. She reviews hotel and speaker contracts and monitors them to make sure all obligations are met. She also plans in-person events, reviews event orders for food and beverage, audiovisual and room sets, billing, hotel rooms, speaker details, review, and update registration lists, and build registration links.

You don’t want to miss the March 2023 edition of Common Cents, which you can listen to at LSCUCommonCents.com or on your favorite podcast service (Apple, Spotify, Amazon, etc.).

LSCU Podcast Host Mike Miller is the Communications Manager for the League.
