There’s still time to submit nominations for LSCU Awards!

Great news: The deadline for submissions for the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates’ Awards has been extended to next Friday, April 2.

“We know how busy our member credit unions are,” said Jordan Burroughs, vice president of member engagement for LSCU. “We want to make sure everybody has ample time to nominate outstanding individuals and credit unions for the positive impact to your respective communities, credit unions and the movement.”

Nominations for the LSCU Awards may be made by chapters, individuals, volunteers and credit unions. Click here for details for the awards or you can nominate directly by clicking here.

LSCU Awards categories are:

  • Distinguished Service Award
  • Young Professional of the Year
  • Professional of the Year (One winner for Alabama, Florida and Georgia)
  • Volunteer of the Year (One winner for Alabama, Florida and Georgia)
  • Credit Union of the Year: up to $100 million in assets (One winner for Alabama, Florida and Georgia)
  • Credit Union of the Year: $100-$500 million in assets (One winner for Alabama, Florida and Georgia)
  • Credit Union of the Year: $500 million or more (One winner for Alabama, Florida and Georgia)

As an added bonus, winners of any of the Credit Union of the Year categories will receive free materials from Growth By Design — the marketing firm affiliated with LSCU — to market themselves as a credit union of the year recipient all year long.
