If you haven’t nominated your favorite credit union or credit union professional for a League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) Award – there’s still time! We’re extending the nomination portal by one week, so submit your nominations by Friday, March 29, to be considered!
Last year, Command Sergeant Major Charlie Miller of Redstone Federal Credit Union in Alabama, James “Jim” Notter of BrightStar Credit Union in Florida, and Harold Harbin of North Georgia Credit Union in Georgia, were the winners for the Volunteer of the Year award.
Don’t miss out on nominating yourself, individuals, or other credit unions for the following categories:
- Credit Union of the Year
- Distinguished Service
- Professional of the Year
- Young Professional of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
Award winners will be notified confidentially, and LSCU Awards will be presented during the 2024 Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE) from June 11 – 14 in Orlando, Florida.
Additionally, with Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and the National Association of Federally Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) merging to become America’s Credit Unions, the CUNA Awards program has been suspended for 2024 while they assess a new combined awards program moving forward. Thus, the LSCU Awards will be the only awards platform available this year for credit unions in our tri-state footprint to honor their credit union or credit union professionals.
