Credit unions and other financial institutions are invited to register for a National Cybersecurity Symposium: Building Law Enforcement and Financial Services Sector Partnerships at 37 field locations across the country on Oct. 21 or 22; depending on location.
CUNA is working closely with the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council to offer a series of open house events Oct. 21 and 22 hosted by the by FBI, U.S. Secret Service, and Department of Treasury. The events are meant to enhance collaboration between financial institutions and federal law enforcement on cyber security. Nearly 40 events will be held across the country at federal agency field offices.
The content will include an overview of the cyberthreat “landscape” as well as FBI/USSS capabilities and services. Those sessions will be followed by a roundtable discussion.
There will also be a question-and-answer period followed by discussions on:
- Opportunities for steady state sharing and engagement;
- Access to threat intelligence (unclassified and classified); and
- Other areas (physical, fraud, terrorism, etc.) covered by the office
