Lizeth GeorgeForbes recently named AmFirst as one of America’s Best Credit Unions in each state. AmFirst is one of five credit unions recognized in Alabama and the only one based out of Birmingham.

In their seventh annual ranking, Forbes utilized independent market research of over 26,000 American residents. The firm, Statista, surveyed where participants had accounts at both banks and credit unions.
Participants were asked about their satisfaction with their financial institution, their willingness to
recommend it to others, and their overall rating of the institution. Statista utilized surveys taken over the last three years. Additionally, the firm used online reviews and ratings completed between February 2021 and March 2024.
