Avadian Foundation Awards Third Round of Grants

Recently, the Avadian Foundation, the charitable arm of Avadian Credit Union in Birmingham, Alabama, awarded its third round of grants to organizations in the state of Alabama that are addressing needs in four key areas identified as the focus for the Foundation.

“We formed the Foundation as an outgrowth of our commitment to helping people,” said Linda Cencula, retiring President and CEO of Avadian. “We want to support the financial well-being of the people in the communities around us to create a more inclusive future for all by investing in affordable housing, financial health, small business development, and education across our membership footprint.”

Navigate Affordable Housing Partners, Inc., received a grant for $20,000. Junior Achievement of Alabama and Small Magic both received grants for $10,000.
