Avadian Credit Union was recently honored as one of the “Best Places to Work” by the Birmingham Business Journal. This award recognizes employers in the Birmingham area that have gone above and beyond to create an outstanding workplace environment.

Avadian was named one of the “Best Places to Work” based on a workplace survey to their Birmingham employee-base. The initiation of the survey and the collection of results was conducted by a third-party research company.

“We are delighted to receive such an honor,” said Linda Cencula, president and CEO of Avadian Credit Union. “To know our employees feel that we’ve created an exceptional work environment is the best accolade we could receive. We are so grateful to have such a talented and dedicated staff working to serve our members.”

A luncheon was held on May 10 to honor companies receiving the recognition. During the event, Avadian was recognized by placing third in the Large Company category.
