Alabama ONE partners with area shelter for pet supply drive
Alabama ONE Credit Union in Tuscaloosa, AL, is hosting a Pet Supply Drive during the month of November in partnership with the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter (TMAS). Additionally, the main branch, located at 1215 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Tuscaloosa, AL, will be visited by a few furry friends as they host Pet Adoption Day on Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT.
Credit Union members will also be able to get their paws on the official Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter instant-issue debit card for a $15 donation to the shelter.
Members and animal lovers are encouraged to bring much-needed supplies the month of November to any Alabama ONE branch to help care for the animals at the shelter while TMAS works to find each pet a home. The most needed items include laundry detergent, cat litter, copy paper, hand soap, and rawhide bones.
“We really get a lot of exposure and supplies from the Pet Supply Drive at Alabama ONE,” says Jennifer Earp, director at TMAS. “It’s been a tremendous help, and we’re proud to partner with Alabama ONE in this way, and we encourage our community to come out and support our furry friends.”
