To acknowledge the many people giving 100 percent to hurricane recovery efforts, Tyndall Federal Credit Union employees are working together to rebuild and to recognize others working in the community. Last week, employees partnered with the AMI store in Springfield, FL, to distribute free gas to help people fill up their cars and generators.
AACFCU presents awards to recognize outstanding employees
Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union (AACFCU) announced Sarah Herrell, Justin Robertson, Kelli Sparks, and Janie Weeks as the recipients of AACFCU’s employee awards for the third quarter of 2018. Herrell, winner of the Team Captain Award, is the branch manager at AACFCU’s Dothan South branch. Robertson, winner of the Top Service Award, is the Contact Center manager at AACFCU’s Operations Center. Sparks, winner of the Award of Excellence for Fraud Prevention, is a teller at AACFCU’s Enterprise East branch. Weeks, winner of the Top Sales and Production Award, is the branch manager at AACFCU’s Opp branch.
Naheola Credit Union to open Branch in Livingston
Naheola Credit Union, based in Pennington, AL, is adding a new branch later this fall located at 719 North Washington Street in Livingston, AL. Naheola Credit Union purchased the building from Tuscaloosa VA Credit Union. In addition to the new branch, the credit union has hired Will Tucker, graduate of the University of West Alabama, as the Branch Manager, and Pam Washington, currently employed with Tuscaloosa VA Credit Union will be retained as assistant branch manager.
Naheola Credit Union and Tuscaloosa VA Credit Union will co-occupy the building for a period in order to better serve members of both organizations until Tuscaloosa VA CU closes. The Livingston branch marks the fourth location for the credit union. Other locations include: Pennington, Demopolis, and Butler.
Keys FCU celebrates 78th birthday this week
Keys Federal Credit Union celebrates its 78th birthday today on Friday, Oct. 26, with cake and free goodies. The credit union is the oldest financial institution in the Keys.
