First Florida Credit Union Named to Florida Trend’s ‘Best Companies to Work for in Florida’ List for 11th Time

Florida Trend magazine has recently published its prestigious annual “Best Companies to Work for in Florida” list 16 times. First Florida Credit Union has made 11 of those, including the new 2024 list.

The company’s amazing success with this award is a testament to First Florida Credit Union’s commitment to creating an engaged environment that makes its employees feel valued, said Michelle Troha, Senior Vice President of Marketing at First Florida Credit Union.

“By prioritizing a positive and collaborate environment, employees feel valued and engaged,” Troha said. “Our highly engaged employees are largely responsible for our company’s impressive growth.”

First Florida Credit Union was also recently named 2024’s Credit Union of the Year in the Large Asset Size category by the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates. The award recognizes credit unions for their outstanding achievements in the areas of day-to-day operations, financial prowess, and community outreach.

Best Companies to Work for In Florida is a survey managed by Florida Trend and Workforce Research Group and is endorsed by the Human Resources Florida State Council. To compete for the distinction, businesses underwent an assessment based on their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The research group then identifies the finest employers in the region, all the while giving organizations valuable employee feedback.
