MIDFLORIDA Credit Union, a prominent financial institution serving Florida residents since 1954, has launched a new financial literacy program, MIDFLORIDA Money Minute. The eLearning platform empowers individuals by providing valuable financial education and resources.
The program is free for all users, no credit union membership required, and is part of MIDFLORIDA’s mission to improve the financial well-being of all those they serve. “In today’s rapidly changing economic environment, the need for financial literacy has become essential,” said Vanessa Hernandez, Chief Retail Delivery, MIDFLORIDA Credit Union. “We hear it from our branch employees every day, and that’s why we developed Money Minute – to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed financial decisions”, Phillip Davis, Financial Literacy Administrator, MIDFLORIDA Credit Union.
MIDFLORIDA Money Minute, a comprehensive educational platform, provides hundreds of financial topics through bite-sized courses. These topics include building credit, budgeting, purchasing a home and vehicle, managing student loans, and estate planning.
