Adena Whitman was recently named president/CEO of The Infirmary Federal Credit Union, a $19 million credit union in Mobile, AL, which serves the employees and family of the The Infirmary Health System. Whitman joins The Infirmary FCU after working as marketing and outreach director for Guadalupe Credit Union, a $163 million community credit union serving new immigrant and low-income members.

Whitman also has served as senior member relations director for the League of Southeastern Credit Unions where she consulted with Alabama and Florida credit unions of all sizes, including helping implement new products and services, creating marketing campaigns, and problem solving and training credit union boards and staff.

Prior to her credit union career, Whitman was a television producer in a Top 20 television market, managing editor for two national B2B magazine titles, and ran an editorial group for an online company specializing in decentralized HR needs. A Tuscaloosa, AL, native, Whitman is a graduate of the University of Alabama.
