SCUCE-2016-InterstitialThe opening general session of the 2016 Southeast Credit Union Conference and Expo (SCUCE) will feature talks from a couple of foreword-thinking industry experts — Mollie Bell, chief transformation officer at CUNA, and Andrew Downin, managing director of innovation at the Filene Research Institute.

Bell will provide an update on CUNA and league advocacy wins, CUNA’s strategic initiatives, and engagement transformation. The presentation will include summaries on topics discussed at the National Roundtable and other CEO summits, along with brain food on marketplace trends and research.

Downin will travel through time to the year 2025 and paint an overall optimistic picture of the future. Assets will grow and the number of institutions will shrink, but credit unions should focus first on the incremental changes that can be made today to ensure sustainability and growth in 10 years and beyond.

Register today for the 2016 SCUCE June 15-17 at the JW Marriott in Orlando. Register by April 15 to take advantage of the early bird pricing.
