CUNA and LSCU work together to provide Small CU webinar series

Did you miss the first session of the new CUNA-League System Small CU webinar series on Member Growth? It’s not too late! Watch it here now!

With the preservation of small credit unions in mind, CUNA is working with leagues throughout the country to create a new series of free webinars for small credit unions, which began with the first session on Aug. 4. The free weekly webinars tackle the most important issues and subjects facing small credit unions today: new member growth, technology best practices, succession planning, marketing, board engagement and more.

The sessions are expected to continue through Spring 2021, allowing CUNA to record and create a library of more than 30 sessions packed with ideas and actionable information.

“The LSCU & Affiliates is excited to offer FREE educational webinars to small credit unions under $75 million in assets from August 2020 through April 2021,” said Maureen Bock, senior director of education. “We appreciate the collaboration between CUNA and the league system to make this possible. Every small credit union should register to attend this series.”

Sponsored by CUNA Mutual Group, the webinars allow small credit union leaders to learn new strategies for the success and to engage with peers from across the nation.

Upcoming topics through September are:

  • Aug. 11: Budgeting post COVID-19
  • Aug. 18: Know your members
  • Aug. 25: Serving members online
  • Sept. 1: Succession planning
  • Sept. 8: History of the movement
